One of the most important milestones in the life of a child is the beginning of school. The main goal of the Explorer class is to prepare kids for school and allow them to make this important step forward confidently. In Explorer, children learn logic, mathematics, reading and writing, combine and organize skills and knowledge learned in the Discovery class. An exciting novelty of the Explorer class is the introduction of practical laboratory lessons where the pupils make their own physical and chemical experiments.
Lessons are project orientated and are structured around an individual work plan. The pupils independently choose the material they want to work with, the place where they want to work and set their work schedule. We encourage our children to use their imagination to put all their incredible stories and wonderful worlds into a drawing on paper with beautiful architecture and striking characters. Special exercises and breathing techniques are used to stimulate the left and right sides of the brain, which allows kids to find creative and out of the box solutions to various problems. Our speech therapist and psychologist will make sure that your kids will go to school with clear and correct speech and will be set for life, both intellectually and psychologically.
Classes are held five days a week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm in groups up to 20 pupils. The staff includes a Senior Teacher, an English-speaking tutor and an assistant.
The price includes five meals a day, swimming classes twice a week, speech therapist and psychologist counseling, as well as Italian (on demand), English, art, choreography, music, gymnastics and acting lessons. An aikido, ballet and animation studio are also available for an additional fee. You can follow your kid’s life and progress, their achievements and success through a personal online diary in which teachers post the most interesting moments of their school life. This way parents are always kept up to date with the progress of their child. We also hold individual parent meetings organized by a child’s teacher and psychologist where at which the child’s achievements and future study plans are discussed.
